Carmall.com - Global automotive market is growing rapidly. The overflowing demands for four wheels vehicles bring about a soothing breeze for Volkswagen (VW). This German automaker succeeds in selling 2,29 million of their units within the period of January 2012 to June 2012. The numbers have increased 9.3% from the same period last year.

Reported by Autoevolution.com, even though selling is hard in Europe but the Asia Pacific market commands 14.8% increase with total sales volume reaching 909.100 units, where before this number it was only 792.100 units.

China market also plays a major role in increasing VW market, having sold over 819.300 units, a 14.7% increase from the same period last year. Meanwhile in North America, there are 242.100 units of VW sold within the duration from January to May 2012 where in other words, a 24.4% increase from last year's period that was only 194.600 units.

"Although the Europe is experiencing economy crisis, but we still maintain a marvellous performance in terms of global sales", as explained by Christian Klingler, board member of Volkswagen Group for Sales and Marketing Division.
