It is beyond expectation when 40 units of Toyota 86 which just made avilable already sold out.

Carmall.com - If you're among the people who coveted the latest sport car from Toyota, then you should have yourself an extra slice of patience before you can park this sweet ride inside your garage, because the 40 available units of Toyota 86 have already sold out.

The shocking truth was revealed by Johnny Darmawan, President Director PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) at Toyota 86's official launch, yesterday (1/6) in Plaza Barat Senayan, Jakarta. "It is beyond our expectation that the 40 available Toyota 86 units were booked instantly. Including these three display units at the launching", said Johnny.

According to Johnny, apparently the success was not only happening in Japan. Considering that Indonesia has serves a great deal of responses even though our local sport car market is not entirely massive. "For that, we will keep on trying to get more of this unit available from TMC (Toyota Motor Corp.)", said Johnny again.

TAM themselves reveal that they only targeted 100 units of Toyota 86 to be sold each year. Plus consumers who wish to buy this car have to wait long enough because the indent process takes about three months.

Consequently it's now wonder if so many people want to have their fair share in this next descendant of Hachiroku. All New Toyota 86 is a combination of the previous sports car namely the Toyota AE-86, Toyota Sport 800 and Toyota 2000 GT. The combination of these three makes out an attractive appearance with stupendous performance.

This sedan is offered in three different variants; Standard (A/T and M/T), Aeropackage (A/T) and TRD (A/T) which retailed from Rp. 600-636 million and of course these prices are all 'on the road'.
