PT Honda Prospect Motor has targetted the new Civic to be sold globally for 1.600 units during 2012.

Carmall.com - All New Civic has been officially released to replace its predecessor. PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) just announced the arrival of the All New Civic to the media this morning, claimed to pack several new refreshments and can already be ordered by its loyal customers.

The 9th generation of the legendary sedan from Honda is also a symbol for Honda Civic Journey for as long as 40 year which is inseparable with Honda development throughout the year, in terms of sales and technology. Honda Civic presence in the world since its first launching in 1972 has already sold for over 20.2 million units in 160 countries. Meanwhile inside Indonesia, this five-passenger sedan has recorded sales of 106.986 units since 1976 to the end of 2011.

"Since the beginning, Honda Civic has positioned itself as a global model", explains Tomoki Ueda. President Director PT Honda Prospect Motor at the All New Civic's launching site in Pacific Place, Jakarta (20/6).

All New Honda Civic still offers the same options of SOHC petrol fuelled engine, with cylinder capacity of 1.800 cc and 2.000 cc. Although both options are in fact are the same cylinders as its predecessor however the manufacturer claims that the new ones will have bigger power as well as more efficient in fuel consumption.

This mid sedan from Honda is actually more than meets the eye. Aside from offering sporty looks inside and out, several new features have accompanied this latest rendition of Civic. Starting from Advance Multiplex Meter with i-MID which integrates with a screen that displays various of information ( fuel consumption, audio control to personal photo wallpaper), then there is the ECON mode, a technology that helps the driver to cut back fuel consumption even more just by pressing the ECON button.

PT HPM also targeted that the All New Honda Civic is to be sold for 1.600 units during 2012. HPM also gives a reasonable mark up from the current model. "Even though several technologies, utilities, and other amenities have been added inside this Civic 2012, but its price tag only increased as much as Rp. 2 million", said Jonfis Fandy, Marketing and Aftersales Service Director PT HPM.

All New Honda Civic price ranges from Rp. 341 million for 1.8L M/T, the Rp. 354 million for 1.8L A/T and Rp. 406 million for the 2.0L A/T. Those who are interested with this sedan can choose from polished metal metallic, alabaster silver metallic, crystal black pearl, brilliant white and new carnelian red pear colour.
