Chevrolet Spark 2013 to debut at the LA Auto Show next week.

Carmall.com - Chevrolet is relying on the Spark for competing with other compact cars such as the Scion iQ, Fiat 500, Smart For Two, as well as other models. However, this car has five doors. This feature may deservingly allow the car to compete with cars of larger dimensions.

But don't be fooled with the petite looks of this car. It may be small in size, but the same can't be said about its power. Armed with a 4-cylinder DOHC engine with a 1.2-litre capacity, as well as supported by the VVT technology and 4-speed transmission (for the automatic version) and 5-speed transmission (for the manual), this New Spark from Chevy can generate power as much as 85 hp, which is actually quite impressive for its class.

For the sake of the passengers' comfort, Chevrolet pinned a MacPherson Strut in the front suspension. In addition, there are also disc brakes on the front and rear, stability control, plus ABS. Chevy also claims that their factory will be manufacturing the Spark to come standard with 10 airbags. Four 15" rims will also accompany the latest Spark from Chevrolet.

In the entertainment section, Spark will offer a 7" full colour screen complete with Bluetooth connection that is fairly compatible with most mobile gadgets around today. A navigational system along with Pandora internet radio and Stitcher will also be available.

Chevy also offers leather-covered seats and steering wheel on the SiriusXM, a higher variant of the Spark.
