To accomodate the life style of car owners who spend most of their time at shopping malls, Chrysler has opened The First Lifestyle Showroom with the concept "Integrated Showroom and Official Merchandise".
The Lifestyle Showroom is as any automotive outlet, which sells vehicles as its main merchandise. However, this Chrysler Indonesia outlet has a distinction over others. More unique, modern, and most importantly, no oil smell nor the loud noises of car engines.
So, what does the showroom look like? This Chrysler's 16th outlet is a car showroom that features luxury and has been designed to today's urban lifestlye.
However, if the usual showroom only gets you to see several display units within the premises, this 120-square meter showroom also allows you to purchase original merchandises and parts showcased in display cabinets.
Around 350 items from brands such as Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and MOPAR are offered, not only for male consumers, but woman and children as well. The items range from t-shirts, drink canisters, key chains, hats, jackets, grille, off-road style, to City Cruiser brought directly from the USA.
The cheapest of the merchandises is a handkerchief at Rp.45 thousand, while the most expensive being offered is a limited edition woman's purse from Chrysler, which has been given a Rp.9.8 million price tag.
As for automotive accessories, a Jeep head reduction hood, which is made of steel and functions to reduce heat, is priced at over Rp.36 million. The cheapest accessory on the offering is a door sill guard black that sells for Rp.526 thousand a pair.
The new showroom is for providing consumers with the best quality facility and services with a transaction area design that is new and different from other car showrooms. "Chrysler Indonesia guarantees the originality and uniqueness of every accessory and merchandise in this lifestyle showroom," said Rieva Muchsin as the Chief Marketing Officer of PT Garansindo Inter Global during the introduction of this new outlet.
"This is the first lifestyle showroom in Indonesia. Even the Asia Pacific has yet to open a Chrysler showroom like this," Rieva added. "For today and tomorrow, we are offering a 30-percent discount on all merchandises and a 20-percent discount on all accessories sold in this lifestyle showroom," said Rieva.
However, this event which also had the attendance of several celebrities such as Sophia Latjuba, Vicky Shu and Mike Lewis still has cars as its main product to market. "Our main focus is still on selling vehicles, while merchandises and accessories will only serve to support," closed Rieva.
