Carmall.com - In the forthcoming Eid Mubarak 1433H, PT Santi Yoga as the sole distributor of Yuasa batteries in Indonesia release the 1,300 participants of free homecoming (mudik), Kamis (15/8).

The free mudik facility is aimed only for Yuasa battery sellers, retailers, workshops, or even major agents in Indonesia.

25 buses were provided with the destinations to Purwokerto, Solo, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Lampung.

Previously in 2011, PT Santi Yoga held the same event for 1,052 participants with five destinations in the Java Island. This year's mass mudik is claimed for its many expansion. One of them, besides the addition of Lampung city as the mudik destination, Santi Yoga added four buses to a total of 25 buses.

"We saw the exceeding enthusiasm of previous year's participants. Even with the addition of more buses this year, many of the employees working in stores or Yuasa agents still didn't get a seat," Zulkarnaen described, the Vice President of PT Santi Yoga in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/8).

Thousands of homecomers from 800 Yuasa stores in the Jabodetabek departed from the Parkir Timur of Pekan Raya Jakarta. The departing system was arranged in several bus groups, six buses to Purwokerto, five to Yogyakarta, seven to Solo, three to Semarang, three to Surabaya and one to Lampung.

Meanwhile, for the backflow, Zulkarnaen describes that there is no free bus. "We only facilitate at one spot, which is Jakarta." For the backflow, it is hard to organise because the homecoming participants come from various cities," says this man who is often called Ibit.

Then, when is the free mudik for the straight consumers of Yuasa products? Andreas Laksono Juwono, General Manager of PT Santi Yoga, said that the concentration is for employees of Yuasa stores, because the program is part of Santi Yoga's CSR.

However, in the future, it doesn't close the possibility of this program to also be for Yuasa consumers. "For consumer, we need to evaluate it again next year, for next year to be accomplished," Andreas said.
