Carmall.com - On Sunday (15/7), the Korea Otomotif Indonesia (KOI) community held another meet-up of fellow members through a convoy and culinary tour to the cities of Bogor and Bandung in West Java. "This activity aims to strengthen the bond and solidarity between members," said Don Azwar, KOI's chairman.

In addition to KOI members from the Jabodetabek area, the occasion also involved officers from the Bogor city police (Polresta Bogor) escorting the KOI convoy in a New Hyundai Elantra sedan. This event commenced from an initial meeting point at the Cibubur toll road rest area at 7 AM, while the second meeting point was a Petronas gas station in Sentul City.

Hitching the chairman's Hyundai New Tucson SUV, CarMall.com convoyed for Bogor with the vehicles of 20 other KOI members. The first destination in the trip was a popular radio station in Bogor, KISI FM. The KOI community had been invited for a 20-minute radio session along with Iptu I Kadek, KBO Lantas Polres Bogor. Besides greeting the KISI FM audience in Bogor and its surrounding area, KOI members also used the opportunity to share the history of their community, as well as raised topics on driving safety.

Afterwards, this community of Hyundai, KIA and Ssangyong users visited the Carwash Ardo Carport, which happened to be owned by a KOI member, brother Joko. There, all the vehicles of KOI members were provided with a free car wash.

"This is what makes the KOI community unique, its members come from various walks of life. From a media entrepreneur, professionals, used car trader to a car wash owner," said Don during the car wash activity. The event continues with a culinary adventure at the Kedai Sunda in Bogor. "Well, we're in West Java, so Sundanese food is a must," said Don while laughing.

The journey then resumed to Bandung for the inauguration of KOI West Java. The inauguration was also supported by other member-communities of the Indonesia Automotive Community (Komunitas Otomotif Indonesia) such as Livina, Pajero, Ford, Grandis, Corolla, Camry, Gen II, as well as representatives of brand holders (Agen Pemegang Merek/APM), including Hyundai Mobil Indonesia Bandung branch, KIA Siloam Motors and KIA Mobil Indonesia.
