Carmall.com - TomTom, a provider of vehicle navigation products and services, has launched its newest GPS system, the Tomtom Via 620. Aside from being launched here in Indonesia, this TomTom's latest product has also been introduced in Singapore and Malaysia. This GPS is equipped with the biggest and sharpest screen compared to previous TomTom series. Its extra-large 6-inch (15.2 cm) touch screen has been designed to provide the highest resolution, for the driver to have the best convenience in operating the device.
Chris Kearney, Vice President of TomTom Asia Pacific, said that this unique design of the TomTom Via 620 is presented to bridge consumers' need.
With the bigger buttons and sharper screen, a driver's visual experience of his/her route becomes clearer. "Driving safety is TomTom's priority in developing a GPS product," said Kearney in his press statement, Thursday (12/7).
The TomTom Via 620 also offers Double Frames, which allows it to be mounted on the windshield or the dashboard. Other convenient features include TomTom's sophisticated screen guide to make travels safer.
Users of this GPS, which retails at around Rp.2.5 million, will get free daily map updates from the TomTom Map Share community.
