Carmall.com - Last Thursday (2/8), PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) launched their newest variant, Honda Brio. This five seated passenger car is the first Honda city car ever launched in Indonesia. It comes with several latest technology features as well as innovative design combined with sporty engine performance.

HPM offers Brio in two models, S (Standard) and E (premium), both are available in manual and automatic 5-speed transmission to accompany the i-VTEC, SOHC, 1.300 cc, 4-cylinder engine and it could churn 100hp of power in 6.000 rpm with maximum torque of 127 Nm at 4.800 rpm.

From performance point of view, Honda apply the Drive by Wire technology, Grade Logic Control and Shift Hold plus ECO indicator advanced feature that could detect and inform the driver to achieve the most efficient way of driving. With those technologies that are also inserted inside Honda City and Civic, Honda is certain that the Brio will be well accepted by the customers.

Meanwhile its braking system is supported with disc brake (front) and drum (rear) with ABS and EBD technology. Macpherson strut suspension (front) and H Shape torsion beam (rear) are applied to suppress the vibration from the 14 inch wheels against any terrain condition.

Seeing from its exterior design structure, Brio's dimension comprised of 3.160 mm in length, 1.680 mm in width and 1.485 mm in height with 4.5 metre turning radius (this will enable the car to turn in short distance). Brio's appearanceis very attractive thanks to the wide design headlamps, dynamic bumper while its tailgate spoiler is mounted on top of the trunk opening so it adds more stylish value to this car.

Brio is very appropriate to be used for daily activities thanks to its petite size and efficient engine", explained Jonfis Fansy, Marketing and Aftersales Service Director PT HPM at the launching in one of the shopping district in West Jakarta.

Moving on to its interior, the front pillar is shaped in slim manner, wide designed windows on the front, side and rear and rear seats model that maximize the driver's visibility to every direction thus will grants more confidence while driving.

The interior also equipped with luxurious amenities such as; 2 DIN audio, USB port, Bluetooth and also sun vanity mirror. In addition to that, its entire variants (S & E) have already equipped with tilt steering, electronic power steering and dual SRS airbags.

To add more uniqueness to Honda Brio style, there is also an option to install the Honda Modulo genuine accessories that will add spottiness feeling to the car. This accessories package consist of fog lamps, front grille, front under spoiler, rear under spoiler, side skirt, instrument panel and many more. There is also striping sticker available, just by adding Rp. 1.5 million and it's available in Honda authorized dealers.

Interested in this Brio, you can simply contact the nearest Honda dealer and prepare Rp. 149 million for the s type (MT) and Rp. 159 million for the S type (AT), while the E variant (MT) is retailed at Rp. 160 million and Rp. 170 million for the E type (AT). Colours option to choose from are fresh lime green metallic, taffeta white, alabaster silver metallic, crystal black pearl and cerulean blue metallic.
