Carmall.com - Recorded in April 2012, Honda products have been showing a healthy trend of sales. Besides the sales from Honda CR-V, Jazz and Freed, PT Honda Prospect Motor also expects their sedan segment will soon recover.

New Honda CR-V has been the biggest contributor for Honda sales. With total sales of 2.727 units during the ongoing 2012, while holding as much as 17% of the SUV segment share market.

"New Honda CR-V has been well-accepted and contributes significantly towards Honda sales", explain Jonfis Fandy, Marketing & Aftersales Service Director PT Honda Prospect Motor.

Aside from New Honda CR-V, Honda Jazz also recorded a healthy sales as many as 1.461 units, as well as Honda Freed by donating 339 units. While their Premium MV All New Honda Odyssey just settled on easy number of 79 units on April 2012. "With the launching of All New Honda Freed recently, we are quite confident that Honda sales will increase by next month", adds Jonfis.

Unfortunately, these increases on several of Honda products were not followed by their sedan segment. The supply hindrance from Honda's plant in Thailand has rendered this product's ineffective in paying their contribution till last April. However, Honda hopes that with Honda's plant in Rojana Industrial Park, Ayutthaya, Thailand has resumed its production then they can meet the supply of sedan type vehicles in the near future.

Overall, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has recorded sales of 3.732 units on April 2012. During this year, HPM also managed to sell 11.875 units of vehicle across Indonesia and owning 3.5% of the share market.
