Carmall.com - After the success of Honda CR-Z Alpha Black Label on July 20th 2011, Honda MotorCo., Ltd yet again launches a special edition of the Honda CR-Z under the name Honda CR-Z Alpha Dressed Label in Japan. As known to public, the CR-z is a hybrid creation manufactured by Honda.

They claim that the Alpha Dresses CR-z is the world's first sport-hybrid car. This special edition is planned to be sold on 31st of May 2012 in a limited number.

Significant differences that this special edition bears that distinct it from the other CR-Z is the exterior colouring, where it was painted in Burgundy Pearl Metallic where this colour is identical with grape. In the interior, this car also been given an alteration, similar colour was applied to be in-sync with its exterior colour, especially on its seats, door panels, steering wheel and transmission stick. Aluminium pedals were chosen to achieve a sportier look.

For its engine, Honda CR-Z depends on a 1.5 litre i-VTEC combined with battery and Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system. Honda claims that the said engine could boost power up to 124 hp with 131 lb-ft torque. Honda plans to offer it in two choice of transmission, automatic and manual with 6-speed acceleration.
