Lighter weight has made the Suzuki Swift Sport to be more powerful compared to its last version. Though powerful, Suzuki claims that this hatchback is far more efficient.

Aside from its right orientation steering wheel, Swift Sport also possesses better acceleration compared to its predecessor. Suzuki Swift Sport also being offered in two choice of transmission, manual one for $ 23.990 and CVT automatic for $ 25.990.With 1.600 cc engine paired with CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), Swift Sport is able to boast up its previous power from 125 Hp to 135 Hp.
Same thing goes for the torque, which now able to reach 160 Nm (whereas before it was only 148 Nm). Though enhance performance is apparent, but Suzuki claims that their hatchback is actually more efficient by consuming 6.5 litres of fuel per 100 km.
Bigger power output generated by this Swift Sport can be realized through the use of lighter material for its body. As a result, the new Swift can sprint from 0 to 100 km in just 8.1 seconds, faster than its previous version by 0,3 seconds. When will it be available in Indonesia? Well, who knows?
