With the launch of the E300 Connect as well as the C180 Special Edition, Mercedes-Benz is attempting to highlight its luxurious lifestyle lineups.
"We want to provide a brand new experience to all Mercedes-Benz fans out there in terms of the most advanced technologies and innovation with an exclusive way and at a place that may well represent the premium vehicle customer," said Yuniadi H Hartono, Deputy Director Corporate Communications for Mercedes-Benz Indonesia.
The E300 Connect seems to know just how to best fulfill what highly mobile business executives may need. The main advantage of this model is the Wi-Fi internet connectivity feature which gives the owners of the E300 easy access to the internet all day long. Meanwhile, for the passengers on the backseats, there is an iPad docking connected to the audio behind the driver seat.
The C180 Style, in comparison, has received a different touch on the interior. The owners of the C180 Style can really expect to show up in style thanks to the piano lacquer finishing touch combined with contrasting stitch colour on the leather interior materials.
The E300 seems pretty appealing with the presence of 18" alloy wheels. Unfortunately, though, there are only 70 units of this particular model with each being sold at Rp.1.059 million.
On the other hand, the C180 Style also looks more attractive than the average version thanks to the latest design applied to the car's 17" alloy wheels. Not too much different from the E300, there are only 80 units of the C180 Style to find and each of them will cost Rp.529 million.
For the E300 Connect, the German car manufacturer has implemented a 2,996 cc V6 engine with a maximum output power of 167 hp at 300Nm torque. Accelerating from a complete standstill to 100 kmph, the E300 Connect only needs 7.5 seconds thanks to the 7G-Tronic transmission system.
On the other hand, Mercedes-Benz has powered the C180 Style with a 1,799 cc inline 4-cylinder engine. With this engine, the model is able to reach 113 hp maximum with a torque of 250 Nm. Accelerating from 0-100 kmph, all that the C180 Style needs are simply 9 seconds. Just like the E300 Connect, this model uses 7G-Tronic transmission system as well.
