Carmall.com - Starting July, MINI John Cooper Works (JCW) will be equipped with the latest generation engine from BMW. This engine is claimed to be more efficient without cutting back its power output.

MINI John Cooper Works is still depending the 1.600 cc 4-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharger and direct fuel injection engine. With this format, JCW will be able to release 208hp of power and 280 Nm torque.

However, the superiority is actually lies in the variable valve control which based on the BMW's VALVETRONIC system. The result speaks for itself as the engine becomes more efficient and produces less emission.

For standardization, five models of JCW namely the MINI John Cooper Works Hardtop 2013, Clubman, Convertible, Coupe and the Roadster will also be donning 6-speed automatic transmission plus ALL 4-wheel drive system.

MINI John Cooper Works itself promises a sport car driving sensation. This is possible thanks to the use of turbo engine, chassis which both are in par with racing car settings, responsive braking system, light 17" allow rims and a complete features consist of electronic stability, traction control and electronic differential lock. All in all, MINI Jon Cooper Works appears with thick accent of a racing car, whether on its exterior or interior.
