Carmall.com - PT Garuda Mataram Motor have officially introduced their coupe, the Audi A5. Apparently, this coupe is a continuation of the previous Audi A5 from 2009. This car is claimed to not only excel in dynamics and precision, but also comes with a unique design with firm-looking bold yet soft-flowing lines that harmoniously combine with an elegant surface as well as character.

This was reasserted by Andrew Nasuri, CEO of PT Garuda Mataram Motor, during the launch at the Rasuna Epicentrum, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Thursday (16/5). "This newest Audi A5 we are introducing first is the plus version with various additional features embedded," he said.

The outer figure of the Audi A5 Coupe is heightened by firm-looking lines and design changes that include a single-frame grille and more contemporary-looking headlights with the application of LED daytime lights with Xenon technology.

Other exterior changes include to the posterior, which now features a pair of tailpipes under the left side of the rear bumper, whereas before were one at each side. Also, the tail light appears contemporary with the adoption of LED lights.

Under the bonnet is an efficient 2,000cc 4-cylinder turbocharged TFSI engine with direct injection, inlet camshaft timing and variable intake manifold.

The engine that is mated to a 8-speed multitronic automatic transmission can churn 211hp at 4,300-6,00rpm and a maximum torque of 350Nm at 4,200rpm. This Audi's 0-100km/h acceleration is 6,4 seconds, while its peak speed is 243km/h.

The cabin comes with a state-of-the-art feature called the drive select for coordinating various independent features into one integrated system, which include power steering, engine management, automatic transmission, suspension and automatic air conditioning.

The Audi A5 Coupe comes with the 2+2 seat concept and light weight body construction, which is achieved through the use of aluminum, steel and other syntethic materials.

The seats are wrapped in high quality Nappa leather and are electrically-adjustable to move forward or backward, as with the backrest. Moreover, the cabin looks modern and is filled with sophisticated technology. For safety, the New Audi A5 has the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) in addition to two front, side and head airbags, as well as the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System to monitor tyre pressure through wheel rotation sensors.
