Newest sedan launched by PT Astra International-Peugeot which aims for the young professional with jam packed routines. The launching of this mid-size sedan is a piece in their International market development strategy that is specifically tailored following the local demand.

The 408 is specifically designed to meet the Asian market demand with young professionals with small family as its target market. Seeing from its look, the 408 infuses elements such as comfort, safety and premium quality for its exterior and interior.

The 408 has a dimension figuring in 4.68 m long, 1.82 m wide and 1.53 m high, plus 2.71 m for its wheelbase creating an ampler interior. At the front, spotted a signature Peugeot aggressive headlamps infused with chrome stripes on its radiator grille and elegant floating anterior bumper.

Onate detailing on the side featuring a curve that stretches from the end of the taillights to the front wing. While its taillights sweetly accented the boot (trunk) which comes with red 'ruby' design and complemented with three white stripes signifying a lion's claw. The design was made as a tribute to the historical Peugeot models such as the 307 CC, 504 Coupe and Cabriolet.

Alloy rims with r17 inch rims were used as a finishing touch for the 408's exterior. Different spokes were applied, as the 1.6L Turbo uses 8 spokes rims, the 2.0L variant uses the 5 spokes one.

408's cabin room was elaborately designed that resulting in the biggest cabin in its class. The front window is 3.95 square metres wide allowing great visibility for the driver. Elegant and sporty sensation quickly wrapped your feeling once you stepped inside its cabin which offers lavish upholstery on the dashboard and manual adjustable leather seats (type 1.6L Turbo).
