Carmall.com - The Nissan Juke-R has been confirmed to soon, this summer, be greeting the market. However, this innovative project will only have limited numbers produced.

The limited number is meant to reach only serious collectors who are passionate about owning an original Nissan masterpiece. "We will build a Juke-R unit for any consumer in the world, but still limited (build to order)," says David P. Reuter, Vice President of Nissan America.

Judging from its looks, Nissan could just be in for a flood of orders. This crossover with the initial R has a significantly heightened fierceness and muscular impression to it. Just look at its front spoiler and side skirts with aerodynamic curves, while the application of a rear wing and 7-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in thin-profile tyres elevate its sportiness.

For its performance apparatus, the Nissan Juke-R is equipped with a 3,800cc V6 twin-turbocharged engine adopted from the Godzilla itself, the Nissan GT-R. With the engine, the Nissan GT-R is able to accelerate 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds, while its maximum output is a good 478hp.

However, that recorded performance does not apply to the Nissan Juke-R. The adoption of also GT-R's drivetrain actually allows the Nissan Juke-R to produce up to 545hp. This racing edition Juke will begin distribution this summer. For customers in Dubai, in January 2013.
