Carmall.com - A synergy was born when two companies under the PT. Astra International, PT. Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) and PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) decided to collaborate with each other and created a product which can be the answer to the needs of the publics in Indonesia of an efficient vehicle, tough with affordable price. The Avanza-Xenia was officially launched back in January 2004.

Until now, the Avanza-Xenia has transformed into a dream car for families in Indonesia. Nothing too exaggerated with the word "dream", based on the data obtained byCarMall.com stated that the Avanza-Xenia's sakes starting from January 2004 to October 2011 has reached 981.230 units.

The collaboration between these two Japan's brands continues with the re-launching of the All-New Avanza and the All-New Xenia on the beginning of November 2011. The presence of the latest generation of the low MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) is very much awaited by Families of Indonesia. Wonder what will be this "All-New" predicate does these cars have to offer?

Similar but not the same

As we all know, the manufacturing process of the "twin" is handled by PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor. It's only reasonable if both of them are called "twin", because the All-New Avanza-Xenia is using the same platform with total dimension of 4.140 x 1.660 x 1.695 mm.

Same thing happened with the change in the exterior and interior. The All New Avanza-Xenia now features a dynamic and sporty design. Stylish headlamp on the front grille contoured in an angular and pointy shape made apparent the refreshed looks. With the new face, both cars looked more dynamic and luxurious thanks to the curved and chromed front grille design.

Other than that, the All New Avanza-Xenia also comes with newly designed front and rear bumper, choices of rims of 13 or 14 inch ring for All New Xenia, and 14 to 15 inch ring for All New Avanza. These cars also equipped with new combinations of taillights, posterior wiper, back door opened, reflector and parking sensor to further ease the driver in time of backwards parking.

The differences only lie in the accessories kit such as fog-lamp with chrome lining and roof spoiler with third brake lamp which can only be found in the All New Avanza. And so does the Avanza Veloz, being the highest variant of Avanza, the Veloz has a more muscular bumper
design complete with strict lines showing this car has a good aerodynamics. Another thing that distinguishes this type with the standard All New Avanza-Xenia is the honeycomb designed grille.
