A Dream Low MPV

This Toyota's latest generation low MPV looks more upmarket and promises a comfortable and efficient ride for families.

Indeed, its presence is very much awaited by Indonesian car-shoppers, the auto-industry and the general public alike. Not to mention the time it takes for a new consumer to actually receive a unit, as the number of orders has far exceeded the manufacturer's capacity to produce.

Their drawn attention is perhaps because of the now more posh exterior. The head lamps has increased in style with its angled design.

The All New Avanza's fascia comes more classy as the curvy front grille has been sweetened with chrome accents, as well as furthered by chrome trimmings on the fog lamps.

Other new-found attributes of the All New Avanza include newly-designed 14-inch alloy wheels, back door, reflectors, parking sensors for reverse-parking assist, rear wipers, roof spoiler with brake lights, and new combination rear lights.

Conclusion

It's perhaps an irrefutable fact that the Toyota Avanza has become somewhat an ideal car in the perception prevailant in Indonesian families. Good passenger capacity, excellent fuel economy and an affordable price are three main factors that have made this MPV so well-loved.

Seven years into existence, the Toyota Avanza, which is the result of a collaboration between PT. Astra Daihatsu Motor, PT. Toyota Astra Motor and PT. Astra International, now sees another launch.
2011 was the emergence of the Toyota All New Avanza. And not just reserved to minor or obscure changes, or a facelift, the All New Avanza now looks more upmarket and classy, while the added dimensions is an important credit in making the cabin more spacious and in increasing the luggage capacity.

Besides cabin comfort, the manufacturer has also improved the engine. Despite the reduced torque figures, the Avanza is just as competent in its acceleration. Furthermore, there's also the application of the Electric Power Steering (EPS), which apart from the function this technology's name implies, also contributes to a more efficient fuel consumption.

The All New Avanza's handling has been fine- tuned by the re-calibration of the suspension system, resulting in improved stability.

The All New Avanza is available in four variants, namely the E (1,300cc, M/T and A/T), the G (1,300cc, M/T and A/T), the manual-transmission G, and the highest variant, the Veloz (1,500cc, M/T and A/T).

The All New Avanza's prices range from Rp.144 million - Rp.180.2 million.
