Considering the coveted Hyundai Sonata is making a big success worldwide with its attractive exterior, interior even down to its affordable retail price.

As reported by Autoblog, Andi Palmer, Executive Vice President planning division of Nissan Global, said that after observing how the increasing progress has been made on the demands of Hyundai Sonata which focuses on the medium sedan segment. His company decided to perform a total makeover on the latest Altima design which will also targeted the same segment.

"We even delayed our development just a tad to check if the new Altima already has the accurate proportion so the result will be perfect for the public", said Palmer.

Palmer also adds that Nissan Altima 2013 was previously based on Hyundai Sonata but he will betaking a close attention to its closest rival, Toyota Camry which is the current best-seller.
