Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the authorized distributor for Mitsubishi in Indonesia has brought in the Strada Triton HD-X to replace its predecessor, the Strada Double Cab GLX. This latest double-cabin pick-up comes with specifications that are suitable for use in mining and plantation areas, or for those who are simply off-road aficionados.

Though no radical alterations has been made to its appearance, the Strada Triton HD-X's uses GT Radial Savero tires with its 5-spoke rims. The suspension system has also been modified for better maneuvering stability on varying road conditions.

The Strada Triton HD-X, is equiped with a 4M40 2.8 Liters SOHC engine that produces up to 97 PS at 4000 rpm and has a maximum torque of 20.2 Kg at 2000 rpm.

To supplement that engine, the HD-X also features Power Steering and Easy Select 4WD Shift-on-the-fly, which allows the driver to switch from two wheel drive to four while cruising, provided that the car is travelling below 100km/hour. Its LSD (Limitied Slip Differential) provides for a safe and comfortable drive even on bumpy roads, rough terrains, or muddy tracks, as the feature helps regulate stability during maneuvers. The Double Cab GLX HD-X costs Rp. 268,000,000.
