Carmall.com - This year, PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) will introduce 5 new Suzuki models and the awaited Multi-Purpose Vehicle, the Ertiga. Though SIS have not specifically mention the types, but their arrival have already been confirmed and it's just a matter of time for SIS to introduce them to us.

"Just wait and see, certainly there will be commercial vehicle and passenger type but in a form of a facelift, major change or even new model which never been distributed before by Suzuki in Indonesia", explained Edi Darmawan, Head of Marketing General Manager PT SIS (27/3) in a fast food chain in Kemang, South Jakarta.

Currently, SIS is the authorized distributor which markets products such as APV, Splash and Swift. Rumour has it that these three models will be altered in 2012, but according to Edi Darmawan, it could happen if the consumers strongly demands for it.

Suzuki Ertiga is due to launch in April

One thing for sure is the arrival of Suzuki's latest product, the Ertiga. Because in the coming April 22^nd, the 7-seater MPV will be introduced officially to the Indonesian public which took place in one of the private television station in South Jakarta.

A warm welcome from the consumers already awaited the Ertiga even though its image is still shrouded from the media, but the booking list already reached 2.000 units. "The booking process can be done via internet by visiting www.suzuki.co.id with a 5 million down payment. While for the retail price ranges from Rp. 145 million to Rp. 165 million', said the friendly bespectacled guy.

Edi then adds that Ertiga was assembled using the Completely Knock-Down (CKD) method, this means that this vehicle is purely assembled in Suzuki Indonesia plant. Can't wait for the other 5 new products? Well, you can witness the appearance of these 5 in the IIMS 2012 event and Jakarta Fair 2012.
