Carmall.com - Suzuki is becoming more confident in conquering the national automotive market in the coming periods. This confidence emerged due to the fact that Suzuki's total sales for July 2012 have increased to 13,233 units.

The number is 163% more compared to June sales at 11,839 units, or a 143% increase compared to the same period of last year. This was revealed by Davi J. Tuilan as PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales/SIS' Director of Sales amidst the fast-breaking gathering at Warung Daun Restaurant, Jakarta (6/8).

"Thank you to the entire Indonesian public for well-receiving our new product, the Suzuki Ertiga. It is because of this warm welcome, other Suzuki products have affectedly also had an increase in demand," said Davi.

The Carry Futura 1.5, both the commercial and the passenger type, became the biggest contributor with 4,332 units (32.7%), followed by the Suzuki Ertiga with 4,195 units (31.7%).

Meanwhile, the Suzuki APV (passenger) and the Mega Carry (commercial) followed closely in third position with 3,127 units (23.6%). As for the other products, such as the Splash, SX4, Swift, Estilo and the Grand Vitara, they combinedly earned 12% of the total sales.

July sales is also claimed as PT SIS' best sales performance in 2012 and have established this brand holder of Suzuki at third place in the Indonesian car market. Davi J. Tuilan, the R4 Sales Director of PT SIS said that with this achievement, Suzuki now has the chance to better their national sales rank from fourth since 2008 to third in July 2012.
