Carmall.com - Honda plans to release the all-new 2012 CR-V in Japan and the US by the end 0f 2011 and other markets later in 2012. Honda claims, the latest CR-V features more dynamic look, like the 2012 CR-V Concept, which Honda introduced at the 2011 Orange County International Auto Show in California.

"The 2012 CR-V Concept strongly hints at the more dynamic and refined look of the upcoming model. As the best-selling SUV in each of the past four years, the 2012 CR-V promises to build on its highly successful formula with even more style, innovative features and higher fuel economy," said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales for Honda America.

Honda notes the 2012 CR-V looks only slightly different from the concept car because Honda merely drops the alloy wheels and the aero kit, which includes the front and rear bumper trims, as well as side skirts. According to Honda, the latest SUV will also feature a more fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine and lighter body. In addition, the car will also receive an all-new interior with a more accommodating and spacious design. (sgcarmart)
