Carmall.com - The first semester of 2012 (January to June) became the best moment for Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI). Because there are 98.032 production units of TCI that has already entered the Canadian market. Sales have been increased by 67% with sedan and hatchback models as their main contributor.

Yaris, Matrix, Corolla and Camry as the best-selling products managed to pumped TCI sales by having sold over 16.957 units. While in the truck segment, TCI relies on RAV4, Tacoma 4x4, 4Runner, Tundra 4x4, Venza and Sienna with 6.978 units sold.

Tony Wearing, Senior Director of TCI said that this sales increase is a form of proof and commitment of Toyota to provide high-quality vehicles. "We are counting on Toyota hybrids, Camry, Yaris and several lineup form Lexus and Scion to help TCI sales", said Tony as reported by sacbee.com, on Friday (6/7).

Meanwhile on the hybrid department, Toyota successfully sells the Prius, Prius C and Camry hybrid by 1.657 units. Whereas Lexus variants such as Lexus hybrid, GS series, CT 200h, Lexus ES and SUV RX/RXh they all supported TCI sales by having sold 1.340 units. Lastly, Scion and FR-S also gained an increase by 1.217 units of vehicle.
