Carmall.com - Kia is already selling their latest premium sedan, K9 and the South Korean manufacturer is hoping to compete in the premium segment like the BMW 7-Seires and the others.

Concocted by Peter Schreyer, former designer of Audi, Kia K9 is using the same chassis as Equus, another premium sedan of Hyundai. Unfortunately in the power output segment, the K9 is not as powerful as the Equus with a V8 engine.

K9 arrives in the market with power settings of a V6, 3800 cc and is able to lashes out 285 horse power. Plan is, the manufacturer will set another option for a more powerful engine for this variant (330hp) worldwide.

Kia K9 also comes with 4 choices of driving mode, further details of these modes were not provided though. However the K9 will definitely offer sophisticated features such as a camera that could display the car's surrounding area on a 12.3" monitor, changing lanes warning system, full-LED adaptive main headlamps, active cruise control, information display on the main window, Harman Lexicon audio system complete with 17 speakers and a pair of 9.2" monitors for the rear passengers.

Aside from all that, Kia also provide VIP features on the K9, these features including heater which is installed on the front seats, ventilated back seats, and front passenger seats that could automatically slide to the front when not seated.
