Carmall.com - PT Astra Daihatsu Motor officialy launched a book entitled "Ayo Mengenal Rambu Lalu Lintas" on the fifth anniversary of Taman Lalu Lintas Saka Bhayangkara Buperta, Cibubur, last Saturday (28/4). The book lays out traffic signs to be obeyed during road activities. This book launch is one of the pillars of Daihatsu's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Pintar Bersama Daihatsu.

In addition to the book, Daihatsu also distributed 1,000 trees for planting, as a form of Daihatsu's commitment to the environment. The tree-planting program is also a pillar of another Daihatsu's CSR program, Hijau Bersama Daihatsu.

The fifth anniversary celebration of Taman Lalu Lintas itself was enlivened with works by kindergarten students in Jakarta and from South Kalimantan.

"We are very proud of being partners with Korlantas. As a producer of cars, we are also active in providing early education on traffic regulations, such is through the launch of this pictorial book 'Ayo Mengenal Rambu Lalu Lintas'. May this book be beneficial to visitors, whether children, adults or parents," says Pradipto Sugondo, Head of Research and Develpment Division of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor.

The theme of this fifth anniversary of Taman Lalu Lintas was "Ayo Disiplin Berlalu Lintas Sejak Dini". Irjen Pol Pudji Hartanto, the Chief of Indonesian Police's Traffic Corps (Korps Lalu Lintas Polri/Korlantas), said during the opening that traffic education since an early age is both vital and effective.

"Similar to children songs that stayed to adulthood when memorising it was never deliberate, education on road discipline carries our similar hope," saya Pudji. Irjen Pol Pudji Hartanto also thanked Daihatsu for their partnership with Korlantas in building this facility for traffic education and training, Taman Lalu Lintas.
