This car that can load many passengers, for as long as 8 years has managed to be one of the most popular products ever released by Toyota Indonesia.
Besides helping to establish Toyota as one of the manufacturers with the highest sales number in the global car market, the sales number has also supported the Kijang to still have its market presence at a good age, 35 years.
In celebrating the 35 years, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) as the sole distributor (Agen Tunggal Pemegang Merek/ATPM) of the Toyota brand held the Paket Hemat Kijang Kapsul campaign (up to 50% discount). This program from July 2nd to the end of this year is offered at all Toyota authorised workshops across Indonesia, such as Auto2000, New Ratna Motor, Agung Automall, Hasjrat Abadi and Hadji Kalla.
The campaign is presented in several service packages, including spare part replacement (imported directly from Japan and Thailand) through vehicle check-up by Toyota Motor Corporation, as well as vehicle maintenance check-up. Widyawati Soedigdo, General Manager Corporate Planning and Public Relation of TAM said that the event is dedicated to all Kijang generations, from the oldest to the present generation.
"We hope to reconnect with owners of Kijang from all generations, for them to perform vehicle maintenance at our authorised workshops," said Widyawati in her press statement.
