Carmall.com - Adopting a more coupe-like profile, the front part of the car sports a more classic Volvo-look. The rear end of the car, however, boasts a fastback profile. The four-door car looks even more elegant with its suicide doors, like the latest Rolls-Royce sedans.

"This car features a more daring profile," says Volvo's head of design Peter Horbury.

But instead of the exterior, the interior of the car provides more breakthroughs. Inside the cabin, Volvo stacks an array of multimedia features, including a digital Driver Information Monitor, a HUD (head-up display) on the windscreen, a touch-screen in the upper part of the centre console, and another one between the two rear seats.

"We used a number of touch screens to replace buttons and controls. Smartphones and pads have brought mobile infotainment into the new era. The technology helps us to create a refreshingly uncluttered interior," adds Horbury. (sgcarmart)
