Looking at the pretty high demand for VWs in the German market, VW Group presents a new minivan model named the T5 California and the T5 Multivan. However, between the two, the T5 California is the most exclusive edition.

Aside from having a canvas top, the California is claimed as a special edition for its several similarities with the Multivan Edition 25. However, while the majority of T5 variants have been panel vans, crew cab pick-ups and pick-ups, the Transporter T5 California edition is offered as a camper van or a car oriented to camping/outdoor activities.

The T5 California is a recent launch and is actually a development of the T5 Multivan, but with more features compared to the T5 Multivan. These extra features consist of black matte finishings on its exterior and roof, black trims, as well as other black details on the car's body.

The camper van is also quite complete with its accessories for camping, from a stove, a sink, sleeping bags, to handy compartments and several drawers. Aside from two petrol variants, VW will also offer diesel variants of the T5 California with a power output that range from 101-108hp.

The retail price of this camper van ranges from USD51,700 or around Rp.492.4 million (Rp. 9.525 exchange rate) for the T5 California Beach Edition to USD68.600 or around Rp.653.4 million (Rp. 9.525 exchange rate). Interested? Well, don't worry. This vehicle will be launched into the market this fall season in Europe, and will have its soft launch at the Caravan Salon event in Dusseldorf, Germany, next month.
