Exterior
From the exterior, the New Mazda RX-8 looks quite similar to its predecessor. Yet, the multi-reflector headlamps, the fog lamps and the combination taillights emphasize the New Mazda RX-8 as a high class sport sedan.
Interior
The cabin of the New Mazda RX-8 is very comfortable for 4 passengers. Besides, it also feels luxurious thanks to the mostly leather materials used to wrap it. The luggage is also pretty wide, capable of accommodating 2 golf bags at the same time. Better yet, the luggage room even extends between the left and right rear seats. The audio system with Action Illumination also makes driving the New Mazda RX-8 feel more comfortable.
Underhood
The New Mazda RX-8 comes with 2 654cc engines of the model RENESIS Rotary with the twin rotor water cooled system. This engine can produce 215 kW of power at 7,500 rpm and 211 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This sport sedan from Mazda counts on a 6-speed automatic transmission and the rack & pinion steering system with EPS and Direct Drive.
Safety
To ensure safety driving with the New Mazda RX-8, the Japanese car manufacturer uses ventilated discs for both the front and rear braking system of the car. In addition to that, other safety features available on this car include the ABS, EBD, DSC and the LSD.
