Overview
With the CX-5, now you can enjoy the driving comfort with the ‘KODO – Soul of Motion’ concept a la Mazda, complete with the enhancements from the SkyActiv technology, such as a more efficient fuel consumption and lower emission.
Exterior
The exterior design of the Mazda CX-5 looks fascinating thanks to the designs of the LED projector headlamps, front grille, a front line resembling a wing crossing from the front grille to both the headlamps, and also thanks to the presence of the fog lamps. Additionally, the combination taillights give a luxury impression on this car from Mazda.
Interior
Inspired by previous sport cars, the Japanese automaker presents a driver oriented interior atmosphere. The centre console that comes with MID panel and audio system ensures the passengers’ driving comfort while at the same time providing the driver with necessary information while driving on roadway.
The cabin feels spacious as well and it can accommodate up to 5 passengers altogether. The driving comfort is left intact thanks to the ergonomically designed seats.
Underhood
The Mazda CX-5 features a 2,000cc 16V DOHC SkyActiv-G engine with 4 inline cylinders. This engine can provide a maximum power of 155 PS at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 20.39 kgm at 4,000 rpm. A 6-speed automatic SkyActiv transmission with adaptive system becomes one of the most interesting features of this car, too.
Safety
For safety driving, the Mazda CX-5 counts on ventilated disc brakes in front and solid disc brakes at rear. Hill assist system, ABS, EBD, TCS, ESS and DSC also come standard on this Japanese car.
