It is no longer a secret that the Toyota Avanza is one of the most favoured car in Indonesia. This new MPV from Toyota, in collaboration with Daihatsu, can be seen easily almost everywhere. This time, following the launch of the new generation Toyota Avanza, the Japanese car manufacturer has been forced to face an indent of 1,500 units only 2 days after the launch of the model. It’s an amazing achievement for a car indeed.
Exterior
The Toyota Avanza looks tougher with the new exterior design. The backward bending headlamps and the curvy front grille give the car a sporty impression. Meanwhile, the fog lamps on the front bumper are really useful when the driver needs some extra illumination. On the other hand, the taillights that come with the new design, along with the roof spoiler with brake indicator, add to the confidence of whoever drives in the new Toyota Avanza.
Interior
Besides its exterior styling, the cabin of the new Toyota Avanza is also as good as, if not better than, that of its predecessor. The cabin can still accommodate 7 passengers conveniently. Of course, luggage is important, too. Yet, owners of this new MPV from Toyota won’t have to worry about it as the car features quite a spacious luggage. In addition to that, the car also comes with a newly designed instrument panel and an audio system capable of CD and MP3 playback.
Underhood
The new generation Toyota Avanza features an inline 4-cylinder 1,495cc VVT-i 16V DOHC engine. This engine can burst out a total power of 109 PS at 6,000 rpm and a total torque of 141 kgm at 4,400 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed automatic transmission are the available options for the new Toyota Avanza.
Safety
Of course, the new Toyota Avanza also comes with quite a few safety measures. This new MPV from Toyota has a parking sensor, complete with a rear reflector. In addition to that, there’re also seatbelts for the passengers besides the driver and the front passenger. For the rear doors, there’s the child protection feature to protect your children against unexpected circumstances. ABS also comes standard with this new MPV from Toyota.
